About Me
Hello! I’m a visualization reporter at Bloomberg Businessweek, where I make charts, maps and other graphics for the magazine and Bloomberg.com.
Previously, I worked at McClatchy, combining data reporting, design and web development for investigative projects across newsrooms including the Miami Herald, The Charlotte Observer, The Kansas City Star and The Sacramento Bee. My reporting has covered everything from flood risk in South Florida to toxic sludge in South Carolina and local political scandals.
Outside of my newsroom work, I’m a co-founder of the Center for American Politics and Design (CAPD), an archive documenting the visual language of U.S. elections.
I’m based in New York City.
